B&Q Warehouse, Hedge End

B&Q PLC's Warehouse store in Hedge End, Southampton opened to the public on October 1999, with the garden centre and bulk goods areas following on in spring 2000.

Electrical distribution for the retail area lighting and power is achieved by way of a Telemecanique Canalis busbar system.

Safety services include emergency lighting, and a Notifier analogue addressable fire alarm system with automatic smoke detection throughout the building.

The lighting, power, heating and ventilation systems are automatically controlled by a Caradon Trend building management system.
